What is a Piggable Valve?

Piggingis a term used to describe the process of cleaning a pipeline by a device that passes through a pipeline called a pig. Starting and retrieving

All pipelines that uses pigging for cleaning, always have an entry and exist point for the pigs. The point of entry is called the lunch station, but instead of the pipe section, the receiving station, and usually the exit in many cases, it is called a pig catcher. The loading of the emitter tube and its withdrawal require removing the real part of the tube and the mold is connected between the piping and the valve, i.e. the flange. This is another important aspect of the pipeline used to plan or upgrade the pig valves, which was not affected by the removal of the valve.


Environmental benefits

Pigging always play an important role in reducing the environmental impact of batch processing. Traditionally, it may be an operator of a batch process, the only way to completely eliminate the product line is a cleaning agent, such as water or a solvent, or the line may be removed of the next product. Detergents should be treated with wastewater or solvents. If the product is used in a clean production line, the contaminated part of the product must be degraded or emptied.
